MUST-HAVES: it is a filing rather than coverage of one; it names the individual; it states a total compensation figure; it names the fiscal year; and it carries a filing date inside the 90-day window. Break the total into salary, bonus, and stock and option awards whenever the filing does, and note any say-on-pay result. Skip 'highest paid CEOs' rankings and listicles, news coverage of pay, compensation-survey and benchmarking reports, Glassdoor and Levels.fyi pages, and anything outside the window.
