Research and evaluate new backend technologies, tools, and best practices, and support backend systems development in accordance with architectural standards and product roadmap needs (10% of the time). Collaborate with engineering teams across the organization to design, build, and operate shared backend services used across the company’s product portfolio (5% of the time). Salary: $189,051 - $192,835 per year.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMNTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or any occupation, job title, position involving analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software systems or applications.\nIn lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or any occupation, job title, position involving analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software systems or applications.\nMust also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience using backend programming languages including Java. 3 years of professional experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large -scale distributed data systems. 3 years of professional experience in designing, developing, and modifying software systems using Application Programming Interfaces (APIs ). 2 years of professional experience deploying and managing backend services using a cloud platform including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. 2 years of professional experience writing comprehensive unit and regression tests, including test frameworks including Mockito and Jest. 2 years of professional experience working with cross -functional teams, including security, IT, or finance, contributing to security and compliance. 2 years of professional experience implementing high -performance and scalable backend systems supporting mobile applications. 2 years of professional experience performing data analysis and working with data platforms to extract actionable insights from large datasets. 2 years of professional experience utilizing software container technologies including Docker and orchestration technologies for containers including Kubernetes OR AWS ECS. 2 years of professional experience working with event driven or message -oriented technologies including Apache Kafka OR AWS SQS. 2 years of professional experience developing and supporting software related to compliance, authorization, or biometric systems. 2 years of professional experience using software deployment tools and monitoring systems including Jenkins, Prometheus, and Grafana .\n \nEmail resume to Lauren.Lozano@match.com.
