Led the decentralization of the in-house API gateway: Envoy routing config with a cross-functional, multi-team rollout with stakeholders to improve service ownership and operational clarity. • Designed and shipped progressive delivery features: weighted traffic splitting, subset routing, header-based canary deployments with Argo Rollouts, and production traffic mirroring to validate releases on live traffic. • Drove zonal traffic stickiness (zone-aware routing) across the mesh, cutting inter-zone egress (NIZE) cloud cost by 95% (~INR 3 Crore/month). • Contributed to eBPF-based routing shifts and drove the migration toward an ambient mesh setup, reducing overall compute consumption by 63% and reducing latency by 25% for network heavy services."},{"title":"Software Development Engineer Intern","company":"ShareChat","location":"Bangalore","start_year":2024,"start_month":5,"end_year":2024,"end_month":12,"description":"• Reduced CPU and memory usage by 50% across critical Nexus components through Go performance profiling and optimization, lowering infrastructure cost while maintaining high Availability. • Implemented metrics-based zonal traffic failover in the service mesh, improving reliability during zone-level degradation."},{"title":"Software Engineer","company":"Amrit Medi Tech","location":"Remote","start_year":2024,"start_month":1,"end_year":2024,"end_month":5,"description":"Developed Linux medical-device software in Python (PyQt5, OpenCV , MySQL) for a government healthcare project with IIT and AIIMS, improving diagnostic accuracy by 20% and operational efficiency by 25%."},{"title":"Software Engineer Intern","company":"Atlassian","location":"Remote","start_year":2023,"start_month":5,"end_year":2023,"end_month":7,"description":"Created a backend microservice in Java (Spring Boot) that reduced system downtime by 20%; evaluated AWS storage architectures to cut latency; optimized Redis-backed async workloads, improving queue responsiveness by 25%; contributed to service design, code reviews, and documentation."}],"education":[{"school":"Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad","degree":"Bachelor of Technology","field_of_study":"Electrical Engineering","start_year":2020,"end_year":2024,"description":"CGPA 8.6/10.
