The Adobe sources available here cover Product Intern and campus internship hiring, not experienced software-engineer roles. They are several years old, so use them as examples of reported questions rather than a current description of Adobe's process.
Product Intern: 2024 candidate report
The candidate described an online assessment with aptitude and two coding questions, but did not remember the coding statements. In the technical interview, the writer reported questions about projects, OOP, DBMS, networking, and a cybersecurity hackathon. The two named coding prompts were a Circular Linked List problem and a Robber Problem asking for the maximum coins under constraints across a sequence of houses. Those details are in the Adobe Product Intern experience on GeeksforGeeks (2024).
The source does not supply the full constraints for either coding problem. It would be misleading to claim that the robber prompt was identical to a specific public problem, so the report's wording is preserved.
On-campus internship: 2022 candidate report
A second report describes a common assessment for Product, MDSR, and Research intern profiles, followed by a Product Intern interview. The candidate did not recall the three coding questions in the assessment. In the interview, the named puzzle was to represent the days of the month using two dice. The Adobe internship experience on GeeksforGeeks (2022) also records project discussion and a coding question on an array, but not its statement; that unnamed prompt is left out.
How to prepare for an Adobe Product Intern interview
The value here is in seeing the mix: aptitude, coding, project discussion, and fundamentals. The reports are dated 2022 and 2024 and do not establish the current assessment format. Verify the opening's role and assessment instructions before spending time on any one format. For broader preparation, use our interview question guide and the tech-company experience hub.
Software Engineer MTS reports
MTS-II: data structures and frontend design
A separate Adobe MTS-II report includes these coding and design prompts:
- Given a sorted array, count occurrences of a value by implementing binary search boundaries such as
lower_boundandupper_bound. (LeetCode Adobe MTS-II report) - Implement a trie that inserts words, and discuss storing child links in an array or map. (same report)
- Implement an EventBus with subscribe, unsubscribe, and emit operations; discuss Pub/Sub and Observable patterns. (same report)
- Design a PDF search box that can move between occurrences of a search term across a document. The candidate also discussed React state and event patterns. (same report)
- Is dynamic programming always optimal? The discussion compared an O(n) Fibonacci solution with matrix exponentiation. (same report)
MTS C++ interview
A September 2026 India MTS report names three C++ prompts:
- How do you debug a segmentation fault? (LeetCode Adobe MTS C++ report)
- Implement the Singleton pattern in C++. (same report)
- Implement low-level design for smart pointers in C++. (same report)
These experienced-hire reports are separate from the Product Intern and campus internship accounts above.
Frequently asked questions
Which Adobe intern coding questions are named?
The 2024 Product Intern report names a Circular Linked List and a Robber Problem; the 2022 report names a dice puzzle about representing days of the month. The assessment coding statements were not recalled. See the two GeeksforGeeks candidate reports and 2022 campus report.
