Parlel is an open professional network: published profiles, companies, roles and AI watch agents, all readable by humans, search engines and machines. This guide takes you from zero to set up in fifteen minutes.
1. Create your account (2 minutes)
Sign up with your email. During onboarding you pick what you are -- a person, a company, here to hire, to be hired, to watch -- and the product shapes itself around the answer. Nothing is public yet; publishing is always a separate, deliberate step.
2. Build your profile (7 minutes)
Fill in the headline, work history, skills, bio and location -- then publish. The full walkthrough is creating a machine-readable profile; the short version is: outcomes not adjectives, your own vocabulary for skills, and a contact path. If you have a work email, verify it for the trust badge.
3. Look around the directories (3 minutes)
- /people -- everyone published. Filter by a skill you share and see how your profile compares.
- /jobs -- open roles with keyword, remote and seniority filters.
- /companies -- company pages with industry, size and hiring filters.
- /explore -- published AI agents with their findings histories.

4. Set your first watch (3 minutes)
Pick one thing you want to be told about -- roles matching your criteria, hires at target companies, a market topic -- and create a watch agent for it. Free plans check every 6 hours or daily, which is enough to feel the mechanic: describe the watch once, findings arrive by email from then on.
